Who are we?
Why Blooming Pets ?
The idea for this site came from our own personal experience: it was difficult for us to find somewhere to board all our animals: two dogs, including a Rottweiler, two cats, eleven hens and two roosters, four ponies and three horses.
Putting the dogs in kennels required booking at least 6 months in advance to be sure there would be space, but the horses and chickens were not easily or at all transportable. The logistics were complicated and the costs were skyrocketing.
The « family and friends » solution also had its limitations: they were doing this as a favour for us but were not necessarily very comfortable with horses or chickens, for example.
Nor did they have the knowledge and skills to deal with minor injuries or detect a problem with one of our horses that would have required veterinary attention.
We couldn’t find a pet-sitting website that met our expectations: category 1 & 2 dogs not accepted, number of animals limited to 3, chickens or horses not taken into account…
We are convinced that other families face the same issues as us: lots of animals, more unusual animals that require special skills, etc. And who, like us, need a trustworthy pet sitter who will take care of their animals and ensure their well-being while they are away, so they can go away for the weekend or on holiday with peace of mind.

Our role and ambition
The essence of the Blooming Pets website is to enable you to find a pet sitter who will come to your home to look after all your animals.
Because we know that your homes are not only home to cats, dogs and fish, but also exotic pets, chickens, roosters, pigs, goats, horses, ponies and many more! We therefore do not limit the number of animals that can be looked after and do not discriminate between different types of dogs, for example.
We believe that every animal has the right to be looked after, allowing its family to go on holiday.
We want happy families and happy animals!
Our ambition: to provide you with trustworthy, caring and competent individuals who will be able to treat any minor injuries your furry or feathered friend may have, but also determine whether your pet needs veterinary care.
To do this, we verify the identity of our pet sitters and their knowledge where possible, such as their level of equestrian expertise.
Your pets are not stressed during your absence because by staying at home, they retain their bearings and their habits. This also makes it easier for you to organise and the price is more affordable.
You can go on holiday with peace of mind, knowing that your pets are in good hands and that you will receive regular updates.
