How does it work?

The Blooming Pets website connects selected pet sitters with families who want someone to look after their pets while they are away. At Blooming Pets, in-home pet sitting or in-home pet care is standard. Care is provided through home visits, the frequency of which is determined by the pet owners.We prefer care at the owner’s home to simplify the organisation for pet parents (transporting animals, getting along with other boarders, limited space, etc.) and to ensure the well-being of the animals by maintaining their familiar surroundings, habits, etc.

Registration and use of the site for pet sitters is COMPLETELY free of charge; we do not take any commission on the rates.

Pet owners choose a paid subscription which gives them access to all the site’s features, allows them to contact pet sitters and manage their account.

How do I register and receive pet-sitting requests?

Creating a pet sitter account

Create your account, carefully fill in your profile and submit any supporting documents if necessary.

Your pet-sitting service

Select all the pets you would like to look after and set your rates as you wish per animal and according to the type of services.

Validation of your profile

Blooming Pets carefully reviews your profile and verifies your supporting documents to validate your registration. Once your profile is active, you will be visible in the site's search engine.

Receiving requests for animal care

Owners select your profile and send you pet sitting booking requests. You will receive information about the pet sitting period, the animals to be looked after and the tasks expected by the owners.

Communicate with pet owners via the website's messaging system

Communicate via the site's messaging system with pet owners who have selected you.

Preliminary meeting before home care

You are available for an initial meeting with the pet owner to confirm that your respective expectations match and that you are able to provide care.

Before pet sitting at home

Signing of the pet-sitting contract with the owners and handover of keys.

Visits to animals in their homes

You take care of the animals in your care and provide regular updates to the owners. You return the keys to the owners according to the conditions agreed upon together.
